Email Collection

I recently installed the Hesk helpdesk system successfully. However, I’m encountering an issue with the email collection feature.
Here are the details:
Configuration:
I’ve set up the email collection using POP3, and the test connection was successful.
Similarly, I configured SMTP, and it also connected successfully.
Problem:
When I send emails to the mailbox, they are not being pulled through to the Hesk Help desk.
Assumption:
I suspect that I might be missing a step or misconfiguring something.
Could someone please assist me in troubleshooting this issue? Any guidance or steps to check would be greatly appreciated.
