Would it be possible to have a customized report where we could ask for or at least export in an xls file.
For example if we want not just ticket numbers, but also select for example customers area where they are using hesk like london or northampton selected from the address field, also category the ticket was selected for etc, or any other field we choose. This would give us a better understanding if there are problems in a certain area or if its affecting one part of the country only etc.

if you have any other suggestion it would be helpful

The best thing to do for custom reports is to export your tickets.

In Admin panel > Reports > Export tickets, export and download all the ticket data for the period you are interested in.

The file generated is XML (not XLS), but it is in a format that Excel supports. Open the XML file in Excel (on Windows, right click with your mouse then "Open with") and it should display correctly, allowing you to do custom reports, save as XLS, etc...
