Hi,
My Server is anouncing MySQL 5.6 in August
Is the newest HESK compatible with that?

MySQL 5.6.x was released in 2011, not sure why your host isn't already using it

Hi Klemen,

I just had a conversation why my host (with my host) makes me look silly

with the info you just gave me.
But thanks very much. Apparently they follow the policy that for mysql the updates follow on the lowest version to avoid issues with new versions. Is this smart Klemen? It is my server and I can demand the newest if I want it.
Also my question was if a newer MySql version would be installed (newest) would the speed of my websites or ticket system increase? They said no, but I would like your opinion on this one

I'm afraid I can't comment on your host's policies, but usually the smart thing to do is to keep software up to date.
