Importing pictures into Knowledgebase

Post by wa4mnt »

HESK 3.2.5

Is there a basic guide on how to include pictures into a Knowledgebase creation? I have tried some of the allowed formats of different sizes, and all I get is an empty box. I must be missing something very basic.

Thanks in advance.

The recommended way is to upload the images somewhere and link to them in the article (using the "Insert/Edit image" button of the editor), because pasting them directly into the article would greatly increase the size of your database and the performance of MySQL freetext search that Hesk utilizes.

@Klemen
but if i upload a Picture inside article, it might be useful, to insert the uploaded Picture inline.

Definitely, something we can improve in the future. It's not high on the list of priorities, though.
