The helpdesk was set up on my Ubuntu Server VM and was functioning smoothly when accessed locally via http://my_ip. However, I decided to transition to HTTPS from HTTP and installed OpenSSL to generate a key. Despite multiple attempts, the transition was unsuccessful, leading to an "connection refused" error when trying to access the helpdesk.

Following this, I uninstalled OpenSSL and attempted to revert to the previous state, but encountered no success.

Fortunately, all my Hesk files are intact. Currently, I am considering backing up these files, deleting the VM, and reinstalling everything before importing the backup.

I would appreciate guidance on resolving this issue or instructions on how to transfer the Hesk files to a new VM.

Thank you :D

OpenSSl and SSL are not something controlled by Hesk.

I'm afraid that is a completely server-side-related issue, not something we can help with here.

I presume a Ubuntu forum/chat might help you troubleshoot SSL issues on their server.
