Ticket links from email not working

When teacher (customer) clicks on the link for there ticket it redirects to ticket.php asking for ticket ID. When entering the ticket ID it redirects to ticket.php asking for the ID again. I have spent past 3 days searching for someone with similar issue and havent found a solution.
Would be great to get some help on this.
