Version of script: 3.6.3

Hello,

To help you understand, I created a category called "First Category" and a second one called "Second Category" that depends on "First Category."
  • First Category (public)
    • Second Category (private)
  • Third Category (public)
  • Fourth Category (public)
When I create a "public" article in "Second Category" that is supposed to be private, it appears in the list.

I don't find this logical, because if a category is private, its content should inherit it. I noticed this because I created this private category with the aim of preparing the articles in advance and thus making them accessible by changing the category's status.

It's like how phpBB works which is used here if a member does not have access to the category he will not see these topics, even if this category is in another accessible to all.

No, this should not be happening. Thanks for reporting it.

Most of the team is currently on vacation, we'll fix this when we come back (from 10th onward probably).

Perfect!

Similarly, on the "knowledgebase.php" page, a subcategory doesn't appear within the category, but the articles do. Personally, I don't find this logical either, and I think that if there are one or more subcategories, they should appear, not the articles, for optimal navigation purposes.
